Confined urban site : architecturally sensitive location.

This project included the demolition of a large dilapidated Victorian house and the construction of a replacement five storey apartment building. The brief was for a high quality development that was both innovative in design and addressed the difficult

confined location. Steel frame and lightweight metal frame technology proved effective with restricted site access.
Achieving a planning consent in a sensitive location was challenging. High performance render combined with local stone walling resulted in a striking solution.
