• Andrew Tull
    Managing Director

    B.A. Hons Dip Arch

Andrew began working in an architect’s office in Gloucestershire back in 1978.  He studied Architecture full time in Canterbury, achieving a post graduate diploma with distinction and was selected for exhibition at the 1984 Biennale Di Venezia. Following work in London and the South East he joined Glasgow, London and Canterbury based Clyde Design Partnership in 1991. An early project, for CWS in Faversham, was voted one of the top 50 buildings of Kent in 50 years. In 2000, Clyde Design Partnership reorganised and Andrew incorporated CDP Architecture to continue the work the partnership was doing south of the border but with greater focus on design and personal service. Consolidating from a large multi-disciplinary practice to a smaller design-focused design company was ‘the best possible move’ and was rewarded by, amongst things, becoming overall winner of the RIBA Downland Prize 2009.

  • David Botting
    Technical Director

David’s architectural career started in 1984, working for an Anglo/Saudi practice on prestigious projects for Saudi Arabia. He went on to build up a wide skill base in local authority, property development and private practices around the Kent area. David and Andrew first worked together in 1989 but met up again at Clyde Design Partnership in 1991. His easy going and relaxed demeanor always proves popular with contractors, consultants and clients alike. In addition to providing CDM advice, David’s technical knowledge over a wide cross section of building techniques and his encyclopaedic knowledge of current legislation is invaluable.
