Conversion from derelict pub to apartments and a restaurant with external deck and canopy. The site location on the Old High Street at Folkestone within the Creative Quarter redevelopment area represented an opportunity for a scheme that both regenerated the old Victorian public house but also provided a landmark entrance feature to the Old High Street from Players Park.

The existing deck was under utilised and uninspiring. Within

a limited budget, using the canopy and stainless steel kiosk, the space was successfully integrating into the restaurant forming a focal point in the streetscape and an informal street theatre venue.
